The Department of Fish and Game continues their restocking of Caples Lake with a fish plant of 10,000 1/2 pound rainbows from the American River Hatchery. This summer over 80,000 1/2 pound planters (browns, rainbows, brookies), 140,000 rainbow fingerlings and 80,000 mackinaw fingerlings have been planted.
