Full stringer
Last evening, our guest’s Dave Kennedy, Dave Stapes, and Manny Amaral, were trolling in the East shore of the lake using night crawlers 24’ deep when they started getting bites, after a couple hrs the 3 of them filled this stringer up with Rainbow “planters.” Looks like its fish for dinner to me.

Mike Strikes Again
On Tuesday the 17th, Mike Harris from Roseville caught this 23’ 3lb.Rainbow trolling close to the dam. He was using flashers and a worm about 20’ down.
Catching keepers
On Monday the 17th, our guest, Rye Gregg from Lodi, caught these “pan size keepers” close to the dam. He was fishing from the shore using a “Kastmaster” and orange Powerbait.
A Lovely Couple (of fish)

Another great day off fishing at Caples Lake.
Mike and Jeff Harris, from Roseville strike again. This morning around 9am they were trolling with worms by the dam about 15 to 20 ft. deep with worms when they started getting bite after bite, then at around 9:30 Jeff’s pole doubled over and he landed this 18” 2 ½ lb. Rainbow trout.
